The
Peter and Irene Abe Centre for Excellence (PIACE)
Operating under
the umbrella of the Acoli Association in the UK (Charity No.
1064017), the mission of PIACE is to
help regenerate the people and their land and wildlife of
Northern Uganda.
It will do so by providing care and security for the orphaned
children and animals to ensure a vision of a positive future.
PIACE's current
projects are focused in three areas:
- Community
Care Centre Development
- Education
and Culture Programmes
- Wildlife

Centre Location & Status
The
physical location and staff of PIACE will be at the CCC and
WFCC in Northern Uganda at Custom Corner and Tim Opok. At
present the non-profit (Acoli Association) is located in
the UK. PIACE is in the process of establishing a non-profit
headquartered either in the UK or US.
